WHY GIVE?
While it is popular for people today to criticize the Church for "only wanting my money" giving is a biblical principle that is not only necessary for the function of the church's mission but also for our good as we fight against greed.
Here at Hillside, you'll be confident that your giving is gratefully received and responsibly used. Your gift remains confidential (givers' names always remain confidential, and our pastors are never allowed to see givers' names at any time), and all the finances of the church are reported to the congregation regularly at public meetings.
We believe giving should come with transparency and we work hard to show the use of funds. Additionally, the financial books are audited by two auditors each year. Finally, the congregation is empowered by its members to oversee and vote on the budget and finances while the Property and Finance Board (Trustees) oversee the management of the funds.
